If you wear anything with a Gucci logo, have that

Hermes blanket across your bed, or a Louis Vuitton handbag, you scream new money.
New money screams. Old money whispers.

You should have MANY more zeroes in the bank than in the value of your purse - money, old or new.
Frankly, in America these days, money is all that matters - old or new. If the bank roll is big enough, there are very few (and increasingly less) places that won't "have you".
Spending within your means is wise and admiral, but it certainly doesn't tell if the money is from a (limited) trust fund or just limited income.
Those who "have it" these days generally flaunt it - at least to "their own". Purses are the least of their worries. Think private jets, multi million dollar beach front vacation homes, and family foundations.
While Bama doesn't have that very top national echelon, there are a few in top league and "everyone" is aware.
Other than that you are just splitting (probably jealous) hairs over what Dad should have spent on "those things" and no house is devoid of the fakers and over-spenders, whether that be for purses, apartments, dues, cars, tuition, or vacations!\n\n\n\n\n

We’ve all been on that flight when the person in dirty sweats and flip flops boards late and walks down the aisle bumping everyone wit their “LV” luggage
If you’re lucky, you’ve also stood beside that women in a Chanel suit checking several pieces of her LV luggage at the first class line on a flight to Amsterdam.
Your “logo” alone doesn’t prove anything relative to your money - old or new.

The sneakers are so uncomfortable! So dumb to invest in active footwear that doesn’t even feel good on your feet.
