What are the actual rankings of the top houses

KD doesn’t care what GR has to say about them because they already know who they want and those girls only want them as well. I’ve never understood that people on here don’t see them as top, because they clearly are. OOR girls often want PBP and ADPi more than AGD KD PM KKG because those houses just are more about Southern and sometimes they feel a little fake and weird for the OOR girls, unless they know people in them somehow- which is unlikely if you’re OOR.
There are enough OOR pnms coming here for a long time now that it usually translates into knowing at least one girl in a new row house- and that friendship can mean that house becoming a favorite for an OOR pnm despite any rankings. I’ve seen girls want a new row house over any old row if they have ties to a girl in a new row house and it’s the only person that they knew well coming into Rush.
Just a few thoughts. Old Row is not always top, it really depends on where you are from and who you know.

agree but ZTA is not top. Never had been. Never will be. Everyone makes fun of their fake tan, hair extension, stripper vibe.
Old Row is top: AXO, DDD, XO, PM, KD, KKG
Then AGD and then a tie between Zeta and Pi Phi.

Old Row vs New Row only matters in the minds of small town Alabama girls. You know, like an extension of high school.

Originally only certain fraternities were old row, then they invited six of the sororities they considered top houses to be part of old row (Kappa, KD, XO, AGD, DDD, AXO) and later after a Machine scandal they were forced to add PM. It’s just a prestige thing, nothing more significant than that. They didn’t do anything special or anything.

The thing about top tier at Bama, and I don’t know how it is at other schools, but it’s not enough to just look good. There are so many pretty girls at this school and the rush funnel starts with old row and usually they take the pretty girls who are also classy, have good gpa’s, have been involved in things, have some accomplishments, are well-spoken, know how to carry a good conversation during rush.

Agree with everything besides AGD. Everyone at this schools knows not even the Old Row label is saving them.
