Do the sororities talk to each other?

They are probably not going to report back to every sorority on every PNM but what happens is girls who are friends in different houses talk.
I’ve always heard of you say something mean to a house during recruitment, it will get around and you will be dropped. But I’ve never known anyone who was blatantly rude during recruitment…

Crying is a pretty normal thing during rush so I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's moreso if you say something mean about other chapters or our chapter, or say something that's a bigger red flag. I have friends in most sororities especially other "top" ones, but we would never gossip about pnms.

If you are invited back to a house and don't show up for a party, that is shared among all the houses.
Unless your behavior is egregious (which it then may be shared more formally), the other stuff isn't formally shared; just spread by word of mouth among friends in different houses.

I’m asking bc one of the sororities philanthropy’s is sensitive for me so I’m scared I’m going to start crying. Just want to know if it’s going to get me dropped from all the houses if I can’t pull myself together

Girls cry in every house from the philanthropy! It’s pretty normal and I don’t think you’ll be looked down on for it. I know several girls who cried in my house because of personal connections

If you don't show up to an invited party, without a damn good verifiable reason, pan will likely kick you out of recruitment.
