Rushing in back to back years
by: Rushing againI rushed last fall and after getting dropped by some of my favorite houses, I dropped out altogether. Will I end up on a blacklist/ will houses remember me from last year for trying again this upcoming fall?

Girls go through a second time every year. The main thing that will help is knowing members in houses you are interested in who would be able to speak for you and have influence. Reach out to them and tell them you are interested. You would be under the upperclassmen quota so not having to compete with freshmen for spots. The grades houses will still be concerned about your grades. You won't be on a blacklist simply for rushing again.

Remember that quota is the maximum they can take, not a minimum requirement. No house has to take anyone they don't feel is a fit, and they don't 'reserve' spots for upperclassmen, that's not how it works. Quotas are not pre-determined, they depend on how many pnm's sign cards after pref. Both the freshmen and upperclassmen quotas work that way; more pnm's signing cards = more bids. With that said, houses are less concerned with taking upperclassmen, and are not as likely to carry them from round to round for the sake of numbers. If you get asked to pref you are on the bid list.
