AGD is not doing both.

they do swaps with top frats. and they got most outstanding sorority last year and top grades too. so they seem fine but you don't. why you so mad?

I really don't care if a house is a "grades" house or a "looks" house. I actually think it is great. There needs to be all different types of houses for different members. If a pnm wants to be in a "grades" house good for her. If she wants to be in an "all-around" type house that's fine. If she is stylish and wants to be in a "looks" house ok. Who is anyone really to judge a person. You can't rank these houses and compare them all because they are all very different, just as every pnm is unique.

I wish Panhellenic would read this and use it as a talking point for Convocation. This is what a pnm needs to hear before they start recruitment week.

Houses at the top of that grade list are doing way more than “both” (including AGD). Their members are highly involved all over campus and have friends in other sororities and frats. They all have pageant winners, girls with looks, and girls who like to party. Top houses can also select for higher grades and they have to make deep cuts during rush because of their high return rates.
You don’t know anything about anyone’s swaps because you weren’t invited. If you pledged your house because you thought you would be in with frat guys, no wonder you are pissed. If your idea of social is swaps just fyi: top frats only have about 40 nms and even the larger frats only have about a third as many members as a sorority. Not a smart way to choose a sisterhood.
Smart doesn’t mean boring and hot doesn’t mean dumb. It’s 2023. You can only pick from the houses that invite you back. Sorry you didn’t have those choices. Focus on the house you joined instead of obsessing about the ones that dropped you.

the AGDs I know are literally always drunk, like every weekday and weekend. Is their junior and sophomore PC just crazy compared to the other ones bc I don’t think the 15 girls i know are borderline alcoholics
