Top Tier and interracial

I'm an HS senior and out of state student with aspirations of joining a top tier sorority. I fit the profile of your typical top tier girl so I feel my odds are pretty high however I'm in an interracial relationship with an incoming UA African American football player. Will that hurt my chances? He's pretty prominently on my social media

Bear in mind that just because you think you are top-tier material, the sororities many not think the same way. Lots of PNMs are coming through with great grades, loads of activities, good conversational skills, etc. Recruitment can often come as a shock, and cuts can seem severe. Your boyfriend has nothing to do with this.

The OOS/possible OOR may be a factor.

What do you think a top tier sorority is going to do for you? If you're in rush for clout you will be humbled pretty quick. There are over 1000 top tier girls going through every year. You're not that special.

Why would anyone care about your boyfriend? I would totally flex about dating a football player during recruitment. That will impress everyone and you will have your pick of houses.
