Spring COB 2023

What sororities are doing spring rush 2023? I’ve heard a lot of talk about housing having a lot of December grads. The Panhellenic website is from the fall so if anybody knows or knows when we find out!!

These are eligible sororities but I don’t think KKG will be participating for reputation reasons despite not having the amount of girls they need.

Why do you think DZ won’t? Doesn’t almost every chapter send out a few bids (for people they already have in mind) after girls graduate in the fall?

You should reach out to girls you know in those sororities who can speak for you and get some attention on you. Who do you know from classes, or dorm, or friends of friends? Tell them you are interested in that house. If they like you and could see you as a sister they can help you.

Why do you think Kappa? They have never been on Panhellenic's COB list because they got a full pledge class. All you have to do is go to uapanhellenic.com and look at the COB list. It's not a secret.

It has nothing to do with getting a full class, it has to do with falling under whatever house total is. Fall semester drops and graduations can put a house under total and they can offer some spring bids if they want. When a house has only a few bids to offer, they already know who they want to give them to and then they just offer them. They aren't going to do a mini rush to fill those spots.

if im really interested in a house but haven’t personally met any girls, but follow a ton am i allowed to dm them saying im interested? should it be girls on exec or just anyone and what should i actually say

I’d say definitely not unless they are doing cob publicly in which case, go for it.

Yes you can. There is nothing wrong with reaching out to people. COB is hard enough because there is no actual recruitment process like the fall. Most bids go to people they already know or met during the fall rush. They won’t know you’re interested if you don’t say something
