I’ve heard for some houses there are more legacies that rush each year than there are spots in their pledge class. Obviously they don’t want to take only legacies, so I don’t think it means much anymore. It might help you if they’re deciding between you and another girl with similar grades, involvement, reputation, etc. if you’re a legacy that might give you an advantage.

No one is going to make a list for you because it would be a multivariable spreadsheet. First of all, it doesn't matter how all the different sororities are with legacies, it only matters for you how YOUR legacy house or houses handles them, the others don't matter. Look it up on their national site and that's all you can do. No one can or will tell you how each chapter here considers pnm's based on legacy. Second, what is considered Legacy for one sorority is not considered legacy at another. For example, XO only considers sisters and daughters as legacies, but other sororities consider granddaughters as well and even great-granddaughters in some. A lot of girls think that they are legacies because their cousin was in a sorority - no. Third, several nationals have eliminated all required preferential treatment for legacies, but not all have. So it depends. And last, chapter legacy is far more important at some schools like this one with a huge rush and even that isn't a gimme. There are way too many legacies going through now for it to mean much anyway. Being a legacy is great and all, but it really won't do much for you. Do tell your legacy house that you are a legacy through your rec writers or the sorority's national legacy introduction form, and then don't worry about it.
