What is Tri Delta at Bama like?

I’m a tri delt legacy from another school—but attending bama. What are they like here?

Old Row, pretty, nice girls, not super stuck up or stuffy. They don't seem to be on GR often. The only con is they aren't super-inclusive or outgoing. They all stick to the same frats and don't get invited to a lot of social events like NOLA or Formals.

Being a DDD legacy doesn't mean what it used to. Don't expect to get far in recruitment on legacy coattails.

Not a DDD, but some of my friends are and they love it! It’s true that legacies don’t mean as much as they use to, but it doesn’t hurt.

DDD eliminated their national legacy policy years ago, leaving it up to individual chapters. The Bama chapter has so many legacies come through that they don't really care if your mom or sister or whatever was from some other chapter. It's a nice family connection, but the chapter won't care one bit.

Legacy status won’t get you anywhere with that house. You better have top grades, involvement, community service, clean reputation and know how rush works if you want a chance at a bid.
