After recruitment none of it mattered. We left for our bid day retreat and then two days after we had our first date party and it only kept getting better. You’re about to have the time of your life and make the best friends in the entire world - literally future bridesmaids. I would do anything to go back and relive my bama days.

I promise you, the only people who care about the “ranks” are shallow losers and old ass alums. I have friends that were in “top” houses that were miserable and don’t talk to anyone in their pledge class post-grad & I have friends who were in the “bottom” houses who loved every single aspect of their college experience and wouldn’t change the house they rushed for the world. It’s all about the experience YOU decide to make for yourself.

Have fun, be yourself, try to make friends immediately, and I promise it’ll all be worth while!!

SO true. It really doesn't matter. I'm not even kidding the people who care so much about tiers are mostly girls who got dropped by the "top" houses and dropped out of rush. Everyone else quickly realizes once they've got their bid that the friendships they are making are way more memorable than saying you were top tier! Really a magical experience honestly
