Tell them they’re your top house and tell the other house that you’ve found your home elsewhere to better your chances that you’re higher on the list for the house you want. Don’t suicide bid it almost always leaves you with nothing

Getting the one house to rank you low does NOTHING to get the other one to rank you high enough to match with them for a bid. Focus on telling your favorite house how you feel. This is the time for that. You can tell your 2nd house that you have a difficult decision to make tonight, but don't say any more than that. If you SIP and it doesn't work out you are not bound by the MRABA, but you aren't getting a COB this semester and maybe not in the spring either. If you would far rather not be in a sorority at all than go with your 2nd house then you could SIP if you're positive.

Yes, you can tell your top house they’re your #1 and you hope to run home tomorrow. If your #1 puts you on the top bid list or at the top of the second list, you will get a bid there regardless of where house 2 has you on their list. Bid matching is where the PNM’s rank finally matters.

Please please don’t tell your other house you found your home elsewhere….it’s rude & if you do put them on your Pref card, you have about a 1 in 6 chance of getting a bid. Don’t be the girl who is rude and inconsiderate and then shows up on bus day when they know you don’t like them.


If you do decide to SIP and don’t get a bid, you are eligible for COB.
