Snap bid - does your Rho Chi ask if you want it

Snap bids aren’t likely. Cob is more likely but not everyone will do it this fall/spring.
The most definite outcome will be whoever prefs you. A pref invite is basically they want to bid you.
If you get extended a bid and sign your bid card you cannot do cob or join anyone else for 1 year. So if you wanna drop out you have to do it before pref night is over. You can go to pref.
Also please talk to your rho chi not cewepy strangers online like me :) who knows I might’ve gotten something wrong.

so if you go to your pref parties and then chose to drop out of rush you can't get a snap bid?

If you don't sign the card after pref you are eligible for a snap, but it doesn't mean you are likely to get one. That is absolutely nothing to count on. Snaps are very, very few.

Pref is very often a total game changer for girls who aren't feeling it. Go to pref if they ask you and see. It may change your mind. You don't have to sign the card if pref didn't convince you. Houses are not thinking about COB right now, they are completely focused on their new incoming classes so that's not really a good option right after rush. You can only take care of yourself so don't worry about taking someone else's spot if this house wants YOU. This is your shot.

Okay, thank you! I have one house left that I don’t feel like is where I belong. I don’t want to take a spot from another girl that may love the house.
Trying to figure out my options (assuming they invite me back tomorrow). Should I drop out tomorrow and see which houses are doing COB? Or is COB for sophomores or girls the actives are already friends with?
I’m so torn.
