Torn between three
by: pnmWhat advice do you have for a pnm torn between DDD, Kappa and AXO and having to pick two for pref? OOS and doesn't know anyone already there, wants a fun/social house. Help!

It may sound harsh but they pick you and not the opposite. Most likely you won’t be on the pref list for all 3. If there is someone close to you in the house fighting for you consider yourself very lucky. There will be some very tough cuts today.
Just vote your heart and it will work out like it is meant to be.

sisterhood to pref was the hardest decision for me to make. all three are fun and social, I have friends in all three houses and have gone to events. go with ur gut but for oos I’d prob say ddd and axo have the most oor pc’s. also base it off the convos u have too. I’d try not to let what ppl say ab the houses to influence you too much when choosing ur tops

This might sound dumb but write it down and look at which pair would make you the most excited to see if you were invited to two for pref?
DDD, Kappa
AXO, DDD
Kappa, AXO
If they really are equal, talk to your Rho Chi. You might choose two and get different invitations back anyway! At least you can be excited knowing you can be happy with whatever happens!

This is exactly what she did. She talked to her Rho Chi and thought more about it and ended up putting AXO and DDD, but KKG is right after them and she would be super excited if she gets to go back to Kappa. I think she would also be happy if one of the other 4 bumps up. She is actually not on Greek Rank, which is probably a good thing, but this is someone I'm close to and she asked me for advice so I'm trying to find info anywhere I can.

Kappa is more of a local girls sorority. But they do have OOS girls too, maybe not OOR. Here they’re a party house also. Kappa is super well known nationally whether you’re east coast west coast Midwest, kappa is always well respected and well connected.
AXO is a tippy top chapter in my opinion. Usually first or second in grades, classy, well rounded. A little Jesus heavy but hey. They can be a little competitive but that fuels some people.
Tridelt is def super chill and cool and id 100% rank them as one you’d like to return to for pref. They’re also like Kappa where it doesn't matter where you are after graduation, Tridelt is well connected.
