I am from a Northern state. Got a bid from KKG. Was excluded from almost everything because most of my pledge class already knew each other and a ton of actives from their high school and hometown. There were social events I was not event invited to. They had a swap where only select girls with connections got free drinks. There were 5 other girls in the same situation. We tried but it was too much money to be an outsider in our own house. We all dropped before Initiation. BEWARE of accepting a bid from an OR house that has primarily all Southern girls. They are not welcoming. I know a KD pledge that had the same experience.

Old news. OR has already made its grade cuts. OR will have to extend some bids to OOR because they have to fill their pledge class too and some of their top Southern girls picks will go to the other Southern dominated OR house. If you are a Notherner and have some NR houses still on your list, I would recommend joining them over some of the Southern exclusive OR houses. You will have a much more enjoyable 4 years than being the outsider.
