The mic and camera story is real.
by: 4EverI am a grad student but am still in contact with my sisters. It happened in my house and one other. They are trying not to make a big deal about it but are taking it seriously. I know the rumor was it was HBO but they are not sure if it is that or just some folks trying to make their own content. One sister who is a Media major thought the mic setup looked pretty expensive rather than a cheap one.

I did not say professional mic. I said expensive. And it could be just people trying to make their own content for a TikTock or YouTube channel the want to pump up. The camera story I definitely heard second hand but it was reported to be one you can buy for a hundred dollars that looks like an endoscope. Basically a thin flexible wire with a camera lens at the tip.

I was told the word endoscope and I looked it up and they sell them. Usually used by plumbers but they can be used as a cheap spy cam as well.
