Is philanthropy genuine?

Do sorority girls actually care about philantropy, or is simply a ruse to make themselves look good?

depends on each girl individually. Some actually care a lot and will put lots of time and effort into philanthropy and others just show up to the mandatory stuff and refuse to fundraise at all. Regardless, sororities raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charities nationally and it’s quite amazing

Truly depends on the girl. Lots are truly involved, but it'd be the same girls involved in high school. There are so many girls, so not everyone cares about the philanthropy. A lot of philanthropy events are super fun, whether or not the girls want to raise money or not.
