Sometimes it honestly has nothing to do with you. Sometimes people slip through the cracks. Sometimes the girl who had you may have LOVED you, but she pissed off the wrong person in the house and other people rated you low out of spite. You never know why, but it’ll be ok. Remember, it’s your pledge class you will hang out with the most… not the current actives. And you definitely can’t base your whole perception of a house off of one conversation. That’s literally 1 person out of like 425. You’ll be ok sweetie

We promise it’s not personal. Of course it hurts now. You’re allowed to feel hurt. But know that there are groups that see your potential. Give the remaining ones a chance. And if you get to pref and it still feels wrong, don’t rank and drop yourself.

Getting dropped is absolutely no fun. Try to continue through the week and see how it plays out for you. Your feelings may change. Get to know more people at each house you return to and see if you feel comfortable. Ultimately it is your choice and you need to be happy.

When your faves drop you, you can do two things:mourn your loss and be sorry for yourself, or get mad, get over it, and find a new top three from the houses you have left. And keep picking a top one every round if you have to.

Give the houses that did ask you back a chance. Go in with an open mind. You were only in each house for 30 minutes. This is a common opinion after the first round of parties because often the houses where conversation flowed the best are places where they are especially proficient as "the rush process". The actives are masters at carrying the conversation so you feel like it was a better connection. Don't confuse putting on a better rush with being a better house.
