Our house is fairly confident that we had a girl at our first party in the morning that was probably mic'd or a plant or something. She was asking a ton of technical and weird questions about the selection process and all kinds of stuff that no PNM would be bold enough to ask about. My group reported her to our recruitment committee because we all got a weird vibe.
Panhell executives then visited our house and chatted with our recruitment director. We have no idea what that was about. We have been coached on what to do if we think the PNM is a plant and asks invasive questions.

Actives are getting this in their heads and ruining rush for themselves and 99.99% of the PNMs. I heard yesterday the exec team at one house reprimanded a PNM for “wearing a mic” only to learn she had her tee pulled back and tucked under her bra in back so it looked cuter. There was no mic. And no apology for ruining that girls day. Keep it classy, ladies.

They going to call out a nervous girl who is awkward and asking “technical and weird questions” and ruin this poor girls recruitment. Talk about a witch hunt. Like someone above said…who care if someone wearing a mic (99% sure no one is) how interesting is “what is your major? What did you do this summer? In a LOUD room going to be for this fictional HBO/Netflix documentary.

This is why recs matter. I girl that’s been planted there by HBO would have gone to the trouble to get rec letters. Almost all of Old Row (except Phi Mu) drops you immediately if you don’t have a rec letter. It’s another way they weed out girls that aren’t serious about rush.
