RANT Anyone else have extremely strict parents?

Long story short but I've NEVER gotten into any trouble besides a C on a test every once and a while. On the other hand my older brother was in constant trouble with school, parents and even the police. He went to college, joined a frat and failed out after his first year.
Basically my parents told me at first they wouldn't pay my dues if I even got caught drinking once, I had to talk to my mom/dad on the phone once a day and keep them up to date on my grades during semester. Ok fine whatever.
Now they are telling me I have to keep my location on at all time and respond within 2 hours "no matter what" and what they meant was finding out if I drink AT ALL. They would be the type to see a picture if they thought anyone looked drunk, it would be on me. My dad made the comment that there would never be any reason for me not to be in my dorm building after 12. And he didn't see any reason to be in a frat house EVER. Also they've decided I don't need my car (which I bought in full, it's a 15 year old car, they just pay insurance).
I just don't know what to do.

My parents want me to keep my location on too for safety reasons so I don’t think that’s overly strict. But my parents have never said anything about where I am or if I’m drinking so your parents reasons may be a little different. You are probably paying for your brother’s issues.

Get cash at a decent time. My parents looked at times of transactions. No atm in middle of night.
