Your Rush Week at Bama!

I went in with a bunch of electives and over a 4.0 as well as rec letters for everywhere. I got back 7 for philanthropy, 4 for sisterhood, and 2 for pref

I had the maximum (full card) each round. 4.6 GPA, many extracurricular/volunteered. Ended up Phi Mu

Oos, (midwest) 3.6, cheerleading and minimal community work. Prettyish, well put together. 8/3/2. I'm not going to lie the first round of cuts made me honestly want to drop. (5 of my top 8 houses dropped me) BUT out of the 3 I was invited to for sisterhood were in my top 5 from phil. I got my top 2 for pref and got my first choice!
Trust me everything works out.

5/2/1. Accepted bid. Dropped. COBed where alot of my friends are sophomore year.
I had absolutely no business even going to the pref round I was invited to, knew it wasn't going to be a good fit.
But guess what y'all!? My freshman year was still sooo much fun and I love and appreciate my house now!

Went from 10 in philanthropy to 2 for sisterhood it was rough

OOR from Chicago. 3.9 GPA. Dance team and a lot of other activities. I had 9/5/2. I knew nothing about ranks or any of the houses and had a great time during the week. I got my first choice and it’s considered a “bottom” house in GR but I’ve had a fun year and have so many friends in my house.
