what are the top houses here?

If you’re from the south or have southern roots one of the Old Row houses will probably be what you aspire to be. All top just depends on your personality.
If you’re from OOS and are only familiar with the ASU/UCLA/FSU sorority life and aesthetic for ex., you will have no interest in old row and will be most interested in ZTA, Aphi, Pi Phi and those will be your top. Maybe PM, Kappa, DDD if you’re a little more on the conservative side and care about OR.

Many of these "top" houses have horrible and mean sisterhoods...Kappa, Xo, AXo...be careful when going thru recruitment...also if you aren't from an Alabama high school , stay away from KD and Kappa. You will be miserable. Out of state girls will love Zeta, Aphi, Phi Mu, Pi Phi and AD Pi.

Do not judge a house by looking at their social media. Many houses spend hours photoshopping everything to look perfect. Other houses concentrate on their sisterhood. There are some pretty mean girls in what some people call "top" houses. Go with your gut when you go through recruitment. You will find your girls...

It depends on what you mean by "top houses..." Looks? Sisterhood? Physical house? Involvement? Combination of all of the above? The pledge classes are huge - between 120-140 girls per class - you will make friends in the house you end up in. Don't get caught up in the old row/new row...it really doesn't matter.
