Old Row Fraternities

To be seriously considered for places non phi delt you probably need to have gone to camp with / be family friends with / gone to the same prep school as current members of the chapter or alumni.
Likewise, friend groups form based on these already established connections and their is an emphasis on staying in the south and in these circles. If you don't fit that crew you may be an outcast or not have as much fun..
New row will take guys from all over so they are more open to meeting new guys and making new friends. My two cents.

Don’t even bother with OR (besides maybe phi delt.) They’re much more exclusive than the OR sororities. I really can’t see most of them bidding a random. It probably wouldn’t be fun to pledge with guys who’ve been friends since kindergarten anyway…. There are still great new row fraternities on university.
