Help me decide - transfer housing edition

Ok so I just recently decided 100% to transfer. My original plan was to live in a "student cottage" 5 miles away from the stadium with 4 other sophomores who all were initiated last year, 2 of which are best friends from high school. However my best friend from where I go to school now (who will also a sophomore going through recruitment) now has a new opening in her apartment now with her best friend from high school who is an active. That apartment would be walking distance to everything.. Houses, stadium, the strip... I need to make my mind up for sure in the next few days. Any advice?

Obviously live with who will be better roommates BUT that first semester is clutch for living in the middle of things.
