Sigma kappa new house
by: skOk so obviously sigma kappa is new so that’s why they don’t have a huge house, but when are they getting a bigger one? i feel like pnms would rather go to the bigger houses so i just don’t know how sigma kappa is even able to get new people in their pcs without a big house.

Pretty sure their national has told them they need to get up to total first. They're doing okay for a newly recolonized chapter, but right now they have only 200-something members.

I get the reasoning but also I think it would help them get up to total if there were at least potential house plans, or a lot picked out. You don’t want to go too long being the odd one out. Hopefully they hit total soon

The big question is where will they build, if they start fundraising and get approvals?
Their current location? Where will they move during construction? Is the old AGD house workable as a temp location?
Would the University get rid of Osband Hall or Barnwell Hall to let it be built on those lots?

Pretty sure they have been guaranteed a lot once old tut is taken down because it’s already being broken up into sections

This is their 3rd year on campus. National has said they need to be on campus a certain number of years and keep the house filled before a house can be built. SK is definitely getting a mansion at some point. When TUT is torn down, there will be plenty of room. Meanwhile, PNMs shouldn't pick a sorority based on the physical house.

Believe it or not some people choose their house because of ✨sisterhood✨ And not because of a house. I’m not a sk but one of my roomies is and she’s one of the sweetest most humble girls I’ve met. She also seems to love her sorority. So just a piece of advice- always keep an open mind and make your own decisions

Omg that’s a great location. I wonder if they’ll start getting a lot more hate now from other houses bitter over it. Hahaha laughing at all the girls who didn’t rush a certain house bc of something stupid like a house 🤡🤡🤡

Pretty surprising. IMO it’s past time to release house plans considering the chapter is clearly not going to fail
