Living in the house
by: AlabamaMy chapter is having trouble filling the house, and if we can’t get a few more girls to fill it they start forcing people. If you say no you have to drop. Thoughts?? I’m so nervous. I already signed a lease somewhere. They’re picking based on gpa involvement etc. which I am high in but still makes me worried. Can they actually force you to drop???

It would be less like forcing you to drop and more just kicking you out for not fulfilling membership requirements. I suspect it probably wouldn’t get to that point but yeah it’s possible.
That’s a pretty common issue in my house and we just make the out of house girls (excluding those who lived in in the past) split the rent for the empty beds.

These rules are in the Bylaws of many Sororities' Nationals and they would back up the chapter.
