Old row had a sponsorship with budweiser back in the day for guys it’s Sig nu, phi gam, sae, dke, phi delt, and ka. Girls it’s Chi o, alpha chi, phi mu, kd, kappa. It doesn’t matter as much as it used to but the average old row house is better than new row.

1. Yes, in the 70s and 80s fraternities has sponsorships from Budweiser. They were KA, Phi Gam, Phi Delt, DKE, SAE, and Sigma Nu. These six fraternities brought along six sororities AXO, AGD, DDD, KD, KKG, and XO. Later, the machine gave PM a pity invite to join OR when the machine attacked a PM SGA candidate.

3. Because certain groups had Budweiser sponsorships, these used to be seen as the prestigious groups and everyone else was just meh. Nowadays, it does not really matter except some in staters and life long Bama fans have kept this same attitude because “old row is best”. Also, the OR houses usually don’t interact with NR houses and they tend to stick together like a cult. They have monster swap and monster date party all together.
