Is ZTA cliquey?

Every single house has cliques because it's literally impossible to be best friends with 400 people. That being said, what's telling about a sisterhood is whether or not you feel like you CAN talk to girls outside your friend group if you want to, and like you would feel comfortable branching outside of your close friend group.
I'm not in Zeta and I don't think anyone can speak to whether or not girls in Zeta feel that way. Most likely some do, and some don't. It's one of those dynamics that you're never going to see unless you're in the house.

It's literally impossible to know this sort of thing, and also all the girls in Zeta would prob have differing answers to it as they've all had different experiences in the chapter.
Stereotypically, people consider Zeta to be cliquey and shallow, and definitely not know for genuine/good sisterhood. But stereotypes are seldom true.
I'm in a sorority that has a rep for having genuine girls and a strong sisterhood, and I think people would be shocked to see how much drama and mean girls vibes are in my chapter.

When you were in HS did you usually sit with the same friends at lunch, or did you rotate through random people on a daily basis?
People develop friendships within large groups, and our sororities are large. Doesn't mean that they would not let another sister from a different friend group join them at lunch or while out. Just means that there are people within the larger group that they feel closer to. Nothing wrong with that.

tbh i would say most members of chapters feel this way to an extent. but i agree w the above poster! i’m not friends w everyone in my sorority but if my friends aren’t at lunch, i wouldn’t be that anxious to sit with other girls in different friend groups (except for a few cliques i’d avoid like the plague). our sisterhood is average/good but even some girls won’t necessarily say hi to me when they see me out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but that’s kinda expected with groups of 400 girls.
if you don’t want to be cliquey in ur srat then don’t be! make an effort to talk and sit with different friend groups, and in different pc’s even! i actually found my best friends in my sorority in the pc above and i wouldn’t have met them if i hadn’t just sat next to them at lunch one day. everything about your sorority and college experience is what you make of it!!
