how much influence do some actives have

how much pull do some actives have? I have friends in a certain chapter and they’re 1st years rn but next year they will be 2nd years. and we are pretty close (have hung out) so ik they aren’t dirty rushing me and dropping me but how much pull do they have as second years when I rush.
whose decision is it ultimately??

If the member is respected they have a lot of say. Doesn’t matter the house if someone has a major and valid issue with a PNM she’s gonna get dropped eventually from that house. I’ve seen it happen in just about every top house.

True. Also lbh there are houses where alumnae and rush advisors have a really big influence and can vote over actual actives.

sophomores do not have major pull in rush at all. they often have no huge say in recruitment decisions. the only way they may have it some influence is if they’re literal besties with exec and older girls but 99% of the time- they have no major pull or influence in keeping/dropping girls. so if you’re friends with a freshman active rn who’s telling you “you’ll get into their house this fall” they’re probably not correct.
