Dropped first round by KD(no rec) AXO(no rec) DDD, XO , KKG( no rec) PHI MU, ADPi (no rec)and AGD

Ended up in my first choice house from the start which is known as a top looks house.

You would probably find it helpful to look at the Panhellenic handbook for last year's recruitment. There is a chart listing the average number of houses retained by GPA band for all PNMs.

3.75 gpa, volleyball captain, varsity cheer, student government, 250+ hours of community service, no connections to alabama.
Got dropped by a lot of old row in the first round and I'm assuming its because I'm far from OOR and had no connections. Also got dropped by APhi because a junior was obsessed with my boyfriend at the time 💀. The houses I had left after first round were KD, KKG, Phi Mu, Pi Phi, Zeta, Chi O, DZ, Theta, AOII. Also ended up in my first choice house from the start :)

Can’t wait to see the comments but it’s the truth and still kinda bugs me - but got dropped by APhi after IWT.

I returned to AXO, AGD, KKG, DDD, ZTA, PhiMu, PiPhi, KD...and a full card all rounds
And got the house I wanted in the end.

But I was interested in seeing more of APhi - had a rec and an involved alumnae good family friend from another school.

3.3 gpa in region but out of state. Went to a private prep school so I think my gpa made sense bc of that. Wasn't super involved in anything important in hs apart from playing a sport and being a member of 2 clubs. Had DG, DZ, Theta, SK, AGD, Pi Phi and ADPi after first round.

From small town AL with good grades and involvement and got dropped right away by DDD, KD and KKG. Kind of hurt my feelings but I think those houses go for more big city and private school girls. Still had AXO, AGD, XO and PM and all the new row I cared about. Eventually pledged an old row house and love it!

Mine is a little different - originally from OOS but moved to bham in junior year of high school, 3.6 gpa, ran track, played volleyball, was in a bunch of clubs and had a leadership position - also went to a public school but in a nice area. Didn't really have any connections to girls in college because I moved during junior year. Got a couple old row houses and all of the new row that I liked. The ones worth mentioning are PM, AXO, Pi Phi, Adpi, Alpha Gam and Zeta

OOS but a bordering southern state, 3.8, lots of activities. Had theta, gphi, aopi, dz, chi o, dg, adpi left after round one. It hurt to have so many drop me but it happens. Did not end up in my favorite but that happens too lol
