When can i follow/comment/etc on actives posts

i’m from rlly far away and don’t know anyone in greek life at an sec school. i have some qs about insta norms as far as interactions between actives & pnms.
- if an active follows me first, can i follow them back? could i follow an active first?
- if an active follows me first & i follow them back, can i comment on their insta post?
- is it weird to comment on house insta posts? for ex if they posted a gameday pic could i comment roll tide?

Don’t comment on any posts from actives or the house. Personally I don’t really think following is a big deal but there was a thread a while back and it seemed like most people thought it was weird when pnms follow actives first

Idk I rushed a few years ago so maybe it’s changed but I didn’t do any of that stuff and had a good rush. I didn’t know anyone who was commenting on the posts of actives unless they were already friends
