by: dissapointingCan SDT just leave? They've been here for years and still have an awful reputation and can't provide even what SK or Theta can provide in terms of a sorority experience. Their nationals should just cut their losses and pull charter.

honesty, i really think that the university should’ve put the time and resources into building sdt up to be a on par with the other houses instead of bringing in sk. sdt has decades worth of history at this school which counts for something.
but regardless, yeah sdt needs to go. they provide nothing.

Why do you care? Does their existence offend your snowflake personality?
If the members are enjoying their sisterhood, enjoying their experience then let them be whatever way they want to be.
They have always been a one-off house even when they resided on sorority row and never made quota. The girls were happy that joined them and cherished their time.
And no I am not a SDT!!!

I get that they don't have what it takes to compete in formal recruitment and they do what works for them. I think there's some resentment, though, that they don't/can't participate in mainstream Greek life but OTOH they have full membership in Panhellenic.
Honestly, they'd get a lot less hostility thrown their way if they voluntarily opted out of Panhellenic completely and aligned with the UPC instead.
