University Blvd Fraternities?
by: TSGoing to UA next fall and want to rush. Without being able to see them before asking for rush info I was hoping to see what people know about them. I have gone through the reviews of the fraternities...didn't really help...just trying to find out what each one is like. I heard one has a dry house...Are any of them big in intramurals? Thx

Here we go again the Sig Tau troll claiming the mythical new house they are going to build on University Blvd.

Honestly, all University Blvd houses are good, solid choices. The Old Row houses are mostly filled with guys from Alabama that went to high school with eachother. The New Row houses have a good mix of guys from across the country. All houses party a lot and have events. Reputations vary depending on who you ask but ultimately any Univ Blvd house is good.

I don’t understand people lying and saying that you have to be from Alabama and you have to go to school with people to be in old row. That is just flat out it true. The only two fraternities you might be able to justification for is Sigma Nu and DKE. All others have a wider variety of guys from different parts of the United States. Basically, if people think you’re cool you are gonna get a bid; even if you didn’t go to school with the PC.

Their house is gonna be so nice. Heard it was going to have a resort style pool complex.
