are date parties/swaps both semesters?
by: just wonderingi’m an incoming freshman and was just wondering how date parties and swaps work or when they are? is it just fall semester?

There will he swaps and date parties both semesters. However, the bulk of swaps will be during the Fall semester. My house has swaps at least 2x a month during the Fall semester and probably like 1x a month (IF THAT) the Spring semester. And date parties are scattered throughout both semesters.

Upperclassmen can go but idk why they would want to. Usually the only girls who go that aren’t freshmen are sophomores. In my house older girls didn’t normally go to swaps unless it was specifically a full house swap

Swaps are social events for freshman unless it’s a full house swap (where all the girls are allowed to go). However, in my house at least, there has to be a few handfuls of sober actives/upperclassmen to monitor the party. The actives voluntarily go to monitor the party and it’s a way for them to get to know the freshman.
