Transfer Rushing
by: Roll TideI’m going to be a junior next year coming from another college. Will some sororities reject me since I’m junior? Which houses take upperclassmen?

To be honest, rushing as a junior is really pushing it. Is it possible to get a house? Yes, but your prospects will be slim.
Ultimately, it comes down to your profile. If you have good (and I mean actually good) grades and you’re decently involved in some organizations on campus then more than likely you’ll at least get a bid, and more than likely it’ll be from a new row house (which isn’t to knock new row, I just mean don’t get your hopes set on old row houses).
Do you know any actives here? If you do, that’ll really help you since they can vouch for you.

I'd say go for it, you may not fit in with your pledge class because you're older but you will definitely make friends in your house that are around your age and atleast with your last 2 years of college you will have a great unforgettable experience. If you don't rush, then you will have that big what if in the back of your head forever. Its better to try and do it versus not rushing and living with that what could have been feeling

You will not fit in as easily with your pledge class who will be mostly freshman, it makes it harder coming in a few years older during recruitment
