Girls with YouTubes and big followings used to be really appealing to houses because it was basically free publicity. But then there was an incident with a YouTuber in APhi, a few years ago, and ever since houses have been VERY cautious to bid girls with YouTubes/big followings.

The only two Old Row houses that have taken one were Kappa (MM and she dropped out) and DDD with EM. But she’s not really even a big deal - her sister is. But here sister didn’t come here, so EM is less risky.
So you have a much better chance of getting a top house if you are NOT an influencer. If you are one you’ll probably get rushed hard PBP, ZTA or APhi.

First of all, I wouldn’t even consider KB to be an influencer... her YT posts are very inconsistent and the only brand she’s ever worked with has been Princess Polly (a cheap, trendy fast-fashion online store)... there are girls with only a couple thousand insta followers who regularly collab with bigger brands.
Secondly, there were various reasons why she was dropped. Her grades and reputation were the most pressing and her having a YT channel didn’t help her either. She was dropped by all OR houses after first round and Zeta didn’t bid her because they were only using her to get to other PNMs.

I was shocked to see that tridelta took her at all! Personally I don’t rlly think she would’ve fit in to other old row anyway but tridelta has always had more city girls so I think she’s been ok
