No, that's just what the news is saying, but no one knows the true story. Also the gun was licensed and registered. It couldn't have just been a simple argument. I think it escalated to where the IU student and his friend tag teamed the Alabama guy, and the Bama guy simply just tried to defend himself.

Why when a sorority Bama girl passes away in a tragic accident this site lights up with shame and suspicion with no sense of sorrow?
An out of state frat boy gets in a bar fight - and more appropriate sadness and sorrow is reflected.
Agree that this is a sad and unfortunate incident ant prayers to his family.
Just highlighted the double standard.

I was thinking this too. Both events were completely tragic but it was disgusting to see how people were picking apart the circumstances of that poor girl’s death...it’s not like she can defend herself. + so many people were using it as a “this is why X sorority is better than zeta” moment

I think there is more to it than that. I don't think it was a simple fight because the Alabama kid wouldn't shoot him for no reason. The Alabama guy is very nice and well known around town. I think it was self defense.
