What..... if you pass the grade cut off you pass it. They’re not looking at cool cute girls they liked during rush and cutting them for grades when they are above the threshold. This comment is dumb

Not true at all! I’m in one of those houses that was listed and we take academics very seriously. I feel like NR gets a bad rep for being “easy to get into” but almost every house on campus has high gpa requirements... if you’re rushing with a 3.3 then you’re going to significantly make up for it in other areas, and that’s across the board for all houses.

Yeah but if there’s another girl with your identical resume by she has a 3.7, she’s getting in a top house and you’re not.

Each house based SOLELY on a 3.3 gpa:
- AXO, AGD, XO, DDD: Immediate drop. All four houses prioritize grades during rush, especially AXO and AGD.
- KKG, PM, KD, PBP, ADPi: Might keep you past the first round if conversations go super well but pretty unlikely. All five houses have a lot of interest from PNMs so it really depends on the year and the numbers each house is shooting for. PBP & ADPi also prioritize grades but don’t have as much pull as the first group of houses listed.
- DG, AOPi, KAT: All three houses prioritize grades but don’t have the same kind of PNM interest or pull as previously mentioned houses, so chances are higher for receiving a bid. Again, depends on the year and the numbers each house is going for. Some years these houses do significant first round drops based on gpa while other years they don’t.
- ZTA, APhi, GPhi, DZ: All four houses are much more likely to keep around PNMs on the average to lower end of the grade spectrum. Grades not as prioritized as the rest of the houses.

Some of those houses may be an immediate drop, but I had DDD at pref with a 3.3 so definitely don’t rule any house out.

The post says based solely on grades. Obviously there are exceptions to this when other things are factored in.

I am surprised not axo I feel like they would be pretty strict about 3.3 cut off did you know girls in the house? Are you super easy to talk to? Jw

I would say I’m easy to talk to. I didn’t know anyone in the house but I knew a girl on exec who had just graduated
