joining second semester
by: pnmis it hard to join a sorority second semester (this would be next year). how is rush different and is it harder to make friends? also would they only look at my first semester of college gpa

I would recommend rushing as a sophomore instead of trying to cob. You will have way more options. And by this time you will have made friends in different sororities and you’ll know which houses seem like a good fit. Also idk anyone who has done cob but I highly highly doubt you get the same experience as rushing, running to your house, making friends, etc. By the time you cob girls are pretty comfortable in their friend groups.....

1. Spring rush is significantly different than formal (fall) rush. Only a handful of houses participate so your options are extremely limited.
2. I’d agree with the previous comment that you should just wait to rush sophomore year if you’re concerned about your high school profile (gpa, involvement, etc).
