How do people pay for sororities?

If you aren’t from a wealthy family how do you pay for sororities. Are you able to use finical aid or student loans to pay for it? (Also do you have to a rec letter to get in to a sorority)

Honestly, I have two jobs that help me pay and my parents help me too. My sorority has a payment plan option but I can't speak for them all. It's expensive so make sure you have a plan for how you are going to afford it.

I'm on scholarship that covers some stuff, and I'm in state, so I don't deal with out of state costs. Those both help.

If you take out loans they (typically) provide “extra” money, that goes directly into your bank account, to cover things like living expenses and textbooks. A lot of girls use money from their loans to cover their sororities.

Remember that the biggest portion of the costs is for dining, which is an expense that you would have either way.
