What sorority is she in?

Tried watching her videos and it basically said if you don’t like the house you get as a freshman just drop and rush again as a sophomore. She said because of the quotas that they have to take you and you will get into a top house. Honestly I think that’s pretty selfish and not good advice? I don’t get her videos. Maybe give advice on conversation skills or something- not how to cheat the system. It’s awful.

Idk how it works in y’all’s houses but our sophomores were not the same quality as our freshmen pnms. It seemed much easier to slip through the cracks because of the quota. Idk much about how it all works but that’s what everybody in my house has always believed to be true.

That's a common misconception. No house HAS to take anyone. The separate Quota for upperclassmen only means that non-freshman don't have to compete for spots with freshman, who are more desirable PNM's. But that doesn't make it easier necessarily to get a bid. First of all, Quota is the maximum limit a house can take, not a required minimum. Also, Quotas are not established until after pref round when every PNM has signed her card, so any house that doesn't think a PNM is a good fit will drop her before the pref round. A non-freshman's best chance to get a bid is to know actives in a house well before recruitment. You can't 'cheat the system' as an upperclassman.
