Rushing a Fraternity?

I will be attending fall of next year. How does rushing work for fraternities. I have a 4.0 gpa and play on the varsity football team. I am also out of state.

Check all the national fraternity websites for submitting your name as interested in rushing, reach out to each chapter's rush chair so you can get on their list for any rush events. When you attend Bama Bound look for chances to meet with Fraternities.

Been hearing that the best time to start doing this is after the first semester, around February or March.
