Almost all youtubers are a bad look for houses. Idk why they are treated like they’re desired, Ik my house is careful about them. A couple of the pi phi ones conduct themselves well but that’s it. And who knows how they’ll act if they start having an issue with the house. They are liabilities and it has been proven before

Was it GPhi? I just watched her videos and she says that the actual house was really small and couldn’t accommodate everyone. That does not sound like GPhi, their house is huge.

She wasn't talking about Gamma Phi at Alabama. They got their new house in 2013. I just looked it up because I knew for sure it was here when I started.

No, Gphi started BUILDING their house in 2013, it wasn’t completed until 2015. Their old house was on the corner of Bryant and Magnolia was pretty small.

The Bama youtuber y'all are talking about is named MacKenzie, her channel is sorority recruitment 101 and she says in her March 30, 2020 video that she bid Chi O at the 1:27 mark.

She got a bid to Gamma Phi at Alabama her freshman year. If you google the bid list for her year you can literally see her name under GPhi. But, it was a completely different sorority back then and she didn’t like it, so she dropped. She re rushed the next year and got a bid to Chi O.

She went thru rush twice. She dropped her sorority the first year and got a bid from Chi O the second year.

AL dot com used to publish the bid lists. I believe they don’t anymore but back in 2014 when she rushed they did. If you look under GPB her name MF is there.

Also wouldn’t trust someone who struggled as a freshman during recruitment, got a bid to their least favorite house, and then felt like she was too good for them and dropped.
When she went through as a sophomore the upperclassmen quota made it super easy to re-rush as a sophomore and get a top house, even if you were weird and had zero connections. It was honestly easier to rush as a sophomore than as a freshman then.
