Irresponsible bid day

Holding bid day in person was a mistake look at how many ppl are sick the masks did nothing since they were all together anyway

No it was not the smartest idea, but frankly the sanctioned events where everyone is wearing a mask are not what’s going to get us sent home.

yeah look at oklahoma state their Pi Phi chapter alone had 20 something cases bc of bid day

There's a lot of hate in this thread but ultimately I agree with you. It's UA's responsibility to protect us. Tbh I didn't want a virtual bid day either but that prob would've been smartest, like other schools are doing. Also wish we could have had bid day in smaller groups throughout the day. I just feel like there are ways around it it just takes some problem solving that the university isn't willing to do rn :/
