You lose nothing by giving it a try. If you completely 100% throw yourself in and try to get to know the sisters, you will likely be surprised at how much you will enjoy it. But you need to actually 100% throw yourself in and take the initiative to get to know people and get involved
(I'm a sorority woman so speaking from that POV)
#4by: let down feeling
All the girls (even the ones who lie and say they're perfectly happy) have a letdown feeling after recruitment. You go from everyone saying you're wonderful to all the actives going back to their real lives. The thing that will make it better is your attitude. Go to the house. Meet your new sisters. Volunteer for everything. Spend time getting to know everyone. Good luck!
#5by: U will find your girls
I promise when things hopefully get rolling u will find you group within your pledge class. Everyone is still emotionally spent and with pledge classes of 110 it will take some time. U will be on campus when school starts and find girls from your pledge class in your classes, start going to eat lunch together at the house, walk to class, etc. give it a bit I promise it will pay off soon enough!

It will cost you around $4000 to find out if you like your house or not. I quit and bought a car with the money I saved
