dropping out of rush

if you’re dropping out now because you don’t like the houses you have for pref then you shouldn’t drop out because they’re the only houses that will be COBing anyways

Your choice to drop out of rush. Realistically you have to be ok with not being in a sorority this year and waiting until next year to rerush. Your life your call but you can’t expect to be picked up by a house so just be prepared for that outcome.

Every year we end up with girls trying to COB who had our house left as an option when they dropped, but on bid day, they saw so many fun girls running home to us and want to be a part of it.

Be sure you want to drop before you drop. Your chance at that “top” house you had your heart set on is not going to change and you could be giving up a chance at a great house.

Look at the COB history during the past 5 years. Not a lot are given - maybe max 50 for all sororities and that is in the Spring. Much lower in the Fall. If you are expecting a COB because you don’t like your options, you will be disappointed.
