How many PNMs get their second choice on Bid Day?

How common is it for PNMs to get their second choice house on Bid Day? Has anyone experienced it and has advice about it?

A majority do get their #1 but you also have to remember that just because a girl gets her #1 doesn’t mean she was necessarily happy with the houses she had left on pref. So I wouldn’t put too much stock in that number.

I got my #2 and once the initial shock of not going where you initially thought you would go goes away it’s totally fine. I couldn’t imagine myself at my #1 choice anymore after being in my house for a few months
