by: Only the truthKD and Kappa are the top two sororities at Alabama, everyone on this stupid sight tries to dog them, but they by far are the top two! Don’t let this sight with lower tiers trying to put them down try to tell you otherwise.

Kappa is up there with DDD, XO, AXO, PM, etc. KD on the other hand, is not. I’d rank KD with Zeta, Pi Phi, etc.

I’m being real here.... KD has given out snaps several times in the last ten years. They arent involved in anything on campus and the girls aren’t academically stellar. I think there might be a cheerleader in the house but that is literally it. They attract wealthy Alabama girls whose mothers went to Alabama. They don’t recruit much oos or poc. They specifically recruit mountain brook and private school girls from other cities. That’s fine, but being rich doesn’t make you top. It’s time for everyone to stop giving houses credit for past reputations and start expecting these houses to act like a top house if that’s what they want to be.

KD hasn’t been a top 3 house in 15 years. Just because your mom and grandma tell you a house is top doesn’t make it true.
If a PNM has been told her whole life that KD is a top house and pledges there because of that... she’s going to be really sad and confused that first semester.

I don’t think KD or KKG is any richer at all compared to other houses. Most of the wealthier girls are out of state and they are spread out over all the houses, both OR and NR.
And the AL girls with connections are just as likely to go XO, AGD or DDD as they are KD or KKG. As someone else said on another thread, not everyone wants 13th grade. They want to meet new people.

KKG would never post this, but KD definitely would in an attempt to lump themselves in with KKG.
There’s a big difference between KKG and KD. People on campus actually like KKG and they have a very high return rate during rush. KD is irrelevant on campus and their return rate is nowhere nearly as high as any of the other old row houses. KD doesn’t compete with KKG as much as their alums would like to admit.
