wealthy girls????

The idea that OR is predominantly populated with well mannered, old money, southern belles is killing me.

Not saying there aren’t a few.

Agree that there is plenty of noticeable consumerism as noted above, but don’t think that’s old money (textbook old money behavior would suggest it’s not) and it’s certainly not exclusive to OR.

The best general description of most girls in OR is a middle class southern girl who regularly attends a mega church.

In most places, wearing branded clothing etc. is considered low class. It screams "look at me!" which is the opposite of cultured old money.

No one at UNC or UVA or other old line Southern blue blood and old money schools has anything to do with Gucci. And even UGA (which isn’t an old line & blue blood school). Lol. Says so much about Alabama and how they aren’t even remotely socially in those categories. Maybe one day...maybe never. Alabama hasn’t arrived and will never arrive.
