phi mu transfer

by: Okie

So I am a current Phi Mu at a school in Oklahoma and I was looking to transfer here next year. How does Phi Mu handle transfers? Do you think they would be accepting of me or should I not even bother to join the chapter here?

If this were real, you'd never come here asking because you'd find out through your sorority.

Plus, UA doesn't take a million transfers here, and of the ones they do take, they aren't coming on this site every 5 minutes from whatever school of the day, asking questions that they'd know the answers to already.

Does GR pay you by the post or the click?

I know the official procedures for transfers and everything but I genuinely just wanted to know what the culture was like here. We’ve had a couple of girls transfer into my current chapter and they were pretty welcome but I know that’s not the case at every school. I wanted to see if any current students could tell me if the girls would genuinely accept me as a member or if I would feel like a black sheep. I felt weird reaching out to any of the current students on social media so I did some googling and found this site. I guess I found my answer, yikes :(

We believe you.

Oh no we don't. You'd never ask this question here. Bye!

Okay, I’ll ask somewhere else. I’m sorry, I’ve never really used this site before and clearly I didn’t know what would and wouldn’t be okay to post here. Do you have any suggestions on sites that I may be able to go to or people that I may be able to reach out to in order to have my questions answered?

Try your own sorority.

In my experience it just depends. I don’t know about PM specifically but I’ve seen a few of the other houses treat their transfers just like any other member.
