When someone says "nor do I think many of them would like to be called that" in reference to being considered down to earth, it sounds a little insulting.

I think that she was referring to many of the DDDs not wanting to be thought of as down to earth. Down to earth to me means grounded and well rounded. There is no wording on this post that refers to this description as an insult. I would consider it a compliment.

Wow people are way too getting into what this post was or was not implying. Now that rush is over guess no one has anything better to do. This thread is almost as out of hand as misinformed. The northern chopper parents on that one are loosing it...it's beyond hilarious!
